OTC 2015 (Offshore Technology Conference) was held in Houston's Reliant Center from 4 - 7 May and we are proud to have been sponsor of the largest offshore technology conference ever.

Founded in 1969, the Offshore Technology Conference is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection.

This year more than 94,700 attendees from 130 countries gathered to demonstrate the OTC’s position as the leading forum to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for the safe, environmentally friendly and sustainable development of offshore oil and gas resources.

There are many reasons to attend to OTC. Often, the main reason for oil and gas professionals is to learn about industry trends and application of new technologies. Ranking among the top ten most attended trade shows in the US, the event provides an opportunity for energy professionals to share ideas and technical knowledge.

During 4 days OTC brought together industry leaders, investors, buyers, and entrepreneurs to develop markets and business partnerships, giving all attendees access to leading-edge technical information, the industry’s largest equipment exhibition, and valuable new professional contacts from around the world.

In other words, OTC is always filled with fun and exciting things to hear, see, and do.

Almost 300 technical presentations took place across the event this year, helping attendees to extend their knowledge and create solutions to complex problems within their industries. Speakers at the event -included major, independent and national oil companies; federal and regional government officials; and academics- presented their views on a wide variety of topics and helped attendees to present their opinions on a wide array of subjects; as well as provide an opportunity to discuss the current and future challenges facing the industry.

In total, OTC 2015 was able to offer:

• 29 executive keynote presentations
• 11 in-depth panel sessions
• Nearly 300 technical paper presentations
